This amazing home with lots of character is the family home of 4 adults & 2 children.

It is a 4 bedder condo with 1200 sq feet.

The brief by owners is to keep most of the existing condo fittings and carpentry and to blend in some dark shades into the design. From the moodboard of their likes and dislikes, we figured that they like a cosy home and is open to more daring use of materials and finishes.

Hence we had a wonderful playing with lines, patterns, glass, metal and cushion.

in terms of storages the requirement is quite high and also they wanted to have some display elements in their wardrobes for some limited edition handbags and cool plane models.

The linear theme runs throughout this house and we laid laminates in opposite patterns as a feature wall of the TV console. It also has shelves to house the prized plane models.

There are also plenty tall cabinets as storages and also a sideboard all using various linear patterned woods.

Keeping the walls and celling of the house deliberately plain, we were able to get away with the use of such bold patterns without it becoming overbearing.

In the bedroom, we used a chevron method for laying laminates in the master bedroom which cleverly conceals storages and merges them with the feature wall and we created the wardrobe in the with tinted glass to proudly display the limited edition bags and accessories!
